‘Winning Answers’ in Beauty Contests

Beauty pageants and Miss world/Universe Contests have some strange questions for the contestants…and stranger answers !

What would you do to bring world peace ?

How can women be empowered ?

Who is stronger… man or a woman ?

What is more important….money-making or social responsibility ?

How can we end terrorism in this world ?

These, above, are a few sample questions (almost)

Well….do you really think these questions are for beauty contestants?

Maybe they are…but we never seem to ask these very questions to those who ACTUALLY are responsible for governance !

And coming back to our hapless damsels…who surely have stars in their eyes….and soon….would become movie stars (most of them do )….

….What do they say?

They cannot say that they are far too inexperienced to effectively answer!

Wow !!! They come up with stunningly ‘insightful’ replies !

Actually….it seems though….that they all REALLY KNOW the ‘right’ answers !

So much can be learnt by our politicians….from these beauty queens…..or is there something more to it….that we are missing here ???
