FREUD suggested that creativity arises as a result of frustrated desires for fame, fortune, and love, with the energy that was previously tied up in frustration and emotional tension in the neurosis being sublimated into creative activity. Freud later retracted this view

The sole exception was poetry: the poet was seen as making new things — bringing to life a new world — while the artist merely imitated.

*Creativity is typically used to refer to the act of producing new ideas, approaches or actions, while innovation is the process of both generating and applying such creative ideas in some specific context

There is, however, a dark side to creativity. It is believed by some that by encouraging creativity we are encouraging a departure from society’s existing norms and values. Expectation of conformity runs contrary to the spirit of creativity. Nevertheless, employers are increasingly valuing creative skills

On the other hand….there are thousands of websites/programs/endeavors that help you boost your creativity…..

If we want to be ‘simply creative’….then…. Let us resolve to be CHILD LIKE…..look at the glorious sunset …..walk in the rain…..and do many such crazy things….

…..and most of all listen to the whisper of GOD……. …do not succumb to THE SYNDROME called “I have to do it because all others are doing it!”

….AND LO….we have started to behave creatively !!!
