The eleventh hour for earth or us ???

There has been a lot of concern these days ….to save the planet earth.

The eleventh hour has arrived ?

The  documentary movie ….Eleventh Hour… highlights the calamity without mincing any words !

But who is  really responsible ?
Who is to take charge ?
Who is under threat ?
What are these  advocacy campaigns really achieving ?
What really is a sustainable model ?

These are some very pertinent questions !

Let us look at the possible answers :

It is a foregone conclusion that it is NOT technology but our ATTITUDE that is the biggest culprit !

A paradigm shift needs to take place if we have to redefine GROWTH and DEVELOPMENT

Earth has survived these billions of years….and surely shall survive….let us worry about us !In about 4 billion years of earth’s existence….99.9999% of species ever evolved ….are now extinct !

Speed and lack of simplicity/frugality are the two main reasons for the eleventh hour approaching fast. Let us try to relax….take it easy….and become ‘frugal’ ….not miserly….simply sensible in our resource consumption !

Our definition of progress….growth….well being needs a revolutionary U TURN

Our MBA mindset about maximization ( read success at any cost ) needs to be toned down !

In place of promoting environmental slogan shouting….we need to convert people into nature lovers !
