Human Resource Development...

Let us examine the phrase and look beneath the packaging :

Human ?....well.....this one we leave for you guys in the corporate jungle to decide !

Human Resorce ? Why not !

Human is no more than a resource....an INPUT....that goes through  ( Thru Put)....and produces an output !

Development ?

Yes sir ! Human beings are developed !!!

New skill sets are bestowed....

One die-hard HRD big-wig....in a recent conference was emphatic....that the sole purpose of business is to develop the Human Capital !

Capital argument !!!

So HRD is a great boon for the society....

But a little bird was asking....not too long back......" then who really hires and fires in a company ???"
