The heat is on… all over the world!

The economies are being given a royal roast!!!

It is called a slow down…or a recession….but the buzz word …these days is melt down!

We think melt down is the most appropriate coinage!

And what all is melting down on this blessed globe???

Cushy jobs….Corporate Rodeos…Poor Man’s dreams….Political ambitions….Pensioners’ sense of security!!!

It is in fact quite sad… but then…. you may turn around and ask: What is so funny? Why are we making fun of such dire circumstances!

Well….well…we are not being cheeky…the heat is being felt here as well!

….but if one looks at the picture from a slightly altered perspective; one would realize that this melt down has some positive aspects too!

…and what needs to melt in fact is the false pretense that we are so accustomed to, while the going is good!

We have said it earlier and don’t mind saying it again:

Economies suffer as a result of reckless/mindless over-trading…coupled with irresponsible governance…and less than honest financial deals!

So….this melt down is a phase that needs to be seen as a reminder…that our false sense of materialism ….and our ‘devil may care’ attitude needs to be put to fire…and burnt…once and for all !

May this melt down be our baptism with fire!

And we come out of this ….as more responsible global citizens!
