Commonwealth Games have started a debate that might not die for a long time !

Right ?....

Wrong...

We shall surely forget....as we are a 'spiritually' aware nation....are we not ? We seem to forgive and forget...

When millions will watch the spectacular  inauguration and closing  cermonies of  these games....they shall ask themselves:

" Why was the media creating so much of fuss ?"

" After all...All is well that ends well !"

This is not an article to highlifght the corruption ....or the bureaucratic silver lining....or the patriotism...or the lack of it !

This article is only about one thing :

Intentionality !!!

Let us host games....have olympics....win medals....

but let us not give the alibi of 'National Pride' and 'Superior Status' ...

Games like Commonwealth , certainly are a major PR exercise for the host nation....but let us not play games....

Let us , first have a reason, as a nation to celebrate !

Let us look at sports  infrastructure at the everyday , grass root level....let us not only play for the galleries !

Let us have a clear conscience...let us play with sportsman spirit...

Let us check our intentionality !!!
