Law is a blind ass?

Law is said to be blind !

It is also said to be an ass !

So ….can we conclude that Law is a blind ass ?

But we have never seen a blind ass….so we do not have any ‘precedent’ to work on !

But if we…somehow…. imagine a blind ass….we can visualize certain things like:

An obstinate creature….who not only does not know… where it is going….but does not even care !

A fool who pretends to be very wise…..and is …quite often….a laughing stock !

An unfortunate product of  woeful circumstances….that needs to evolve !!!

Somehow…we feel…the justice system is aptly described in the above few sorry statements !
A case in point is a recent judgment by a superior court…..which went something like this……..( not the words but the spirit here is important)….

“While we agree that the logical decision should be that the estate of the deceased  be inherited by the dead  woman’s parents ….as they took care of the woman once her husband died….and we also know that the deceased woman’s In Laws threw her out once their son died….and the poor woman had no support-system….which  forced her to seek shelter in her parent’s home…….

….but still the law states that her property and wealth be given to her in laws….as…….”

( the ass says so ? )
