The word that is love is least understood
Though it may be true….to be in love makes one feel good !

We all want love….we all want to be loved
Some think they are ‘in’….and call someone a beloved !

Some rise…many fall…some break…some glow…
   And the thing that is love…..touches us…how… we don’t know !

For some love is divine…..they say God is love
 But they neither know this love….nor God up above !

Is love selfish…or self-less as proclaimed
 Can we love just a concept….a phenomenon unnamed ?

Is love a desire…does love make us want ?
 “I love you if I get you…and don’t if I can’t !”

Is love different from liking…can we love what we like ?
 And can there be love without liking…or is it an impossible psyche !!!

Love thy work…love thy neighbor….these words are very  famous
But what actually is implied… “ If you don’t…then don’t blame us !”

No other word… no other phrase has been so wrongly understood….
  We call it ‘making love’ to something different….or do you think we could ???
