Old man and the dying sun

As sun was going down the horizon

I saw an old man …with bent back 

Disappear behind the tall trees….    

 ….there was a bend in the road !

Will the old man return….  

somewhere on this winding path ?

….and shall the sun appear again…

These were my immediate thoughts !

Then I started thinking  

about the thoughts of the old man…   

What would he be thinking ?        

Would he be also worried…. about the return

….of the sun….or his own  ?

And my last thought… 

Before the sun finally disappear in the western hole…

….is there any connection between the disappearing sun…..and the old man ?
