Lens sense

I saw the world today
 Through a magnifying glass…
 And what I saw today was different….and magnificent !

I saw different things…and they were surely different
from the things they are meant to be !!!

I saw that the world around me was upside down
 …an inverted miniature of the ‘real’ world…

And in my room….things simply lay…stuck on the inverted table…
Defying the laws of gravity !

I also saw the texture of my jeans:

At 4x it was a radiant hexagon…
…a looped….thread-like sun…
And at 10x it turned into a blanket of flowers !!!
…violet…indigo…..blue…green….yellow……flowers of many hues….

And then I looked at my blessed wrist watch :

Wasn’t easy to tell the time…wasn’t easy to…
    Keep the dial and the hands together in one frame !

…then I wondered….on which different dimension was  I ???
