A guided tour of the laboratory…
Where Dr. Chimpansky is the director
Many rodents are working on their degree !
The lab has been set up
To do some serious study
….on how humans behave
Are they clean…or muddy !
Dr. Chimpansky is a professor
Of stimulation and response
….he has worked out a certain hypothesis
That money can make the men dance !
The experiment is being done
With Rattle the rodent in command
As this study is on humans
Rats are ideal….they understand !
The study heavily relies
On methods of simulation
Man’s habitat has been created
By polluting the air….to aid respiration
A cross-section of men
Have been carefully selected
But there is no one in the control group…
….as in last elections….they all got elected !
Each man has been given
A molten gold biscuit
What they do with this… is observed
But there are no tools….no kits .
Some men have been trying
For full one week to blow cold
They want the molten stuff to cool
As only then it would be ‘gold’
Some others have attempted
To pour the stuff in their pocket
But the molten metal was heavy
It shook many knees out of their sockets !
To add some variation to the experiment
Dr Chimpansky brought in some females
Put one woman with one man
And rats gleefully shook their tails !
Since the ladies have arrived
A change in response has been seen
Men have poured the stuff in patterns
To make some bracelets…as women are keen.
Rattle the project chief has
Reported thus in his ‘interim’:
That men are like rats….they would hoard
But women are exhibitionists extreme !
Finally….all men did succeed
In making some ornaments
But… if to wear….or to simply keep in a safe
These were the common arguments
Now Dr. Chimpansky put
All these men and women together
He wanted to see group behaviour
And lot of useful data he could gather !
While all men wanted to prove:
Who was the greatest designer
All that women cared was:
Whose necklace was finer !!!
