A Masters in Marketing will focus almost exclusively on the topic of marketing.

Because of the general status of the MBA all quality programs require some work experience so you contribute in class and get more from the degree. Some school's will enable you to start a postgraduate diploma and then transfer to an MBA. You might like to consider doing a course like this part time so you can get some work experience as well.

An MBA is a general management degree. The course will cover topics like strategy, human resources, accounting and marketing. You can specialise in a certain area pepending on the electives you take (or can take) though you will cover all aspects of management.

It really depends on why you want to study. An MBA is a good degree after some initial work experience to help with the next stage of your career progression. A masters in a particular topic will provide you with more knowldge and experience in that area than an someone with a Bachelors degree.
